Important notice

This document is a general foundation for a U.S. SaaS service and does not constitute legal advice. It should be reviewed by counsel before commercial launch.

1. Acceptance and authority

These Terms are an agreement between IglesiaWeb (“IglesiaWeb,” “we,” or “us”) and the church or organization that creates an account (“Customer”). By registering, accessing, or using the Service, Customer accepts these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The accepting person represents that they are an adult and authorized to bind Customer.

2. The Service and accounts

IglesiaWeb is a church-management platform that may include members, families, visitors, ministries, calendars, volunteers, prayer requests, donations, budgets, expenses, inventory, reporting, and other features based on the selected plan.

Each user must provide accurate information, protect credentials, and use only their own account. Customer is responsible for assigning appropriate roles, keeping its users current, and promptly notifying us of unauthorized access.

3. Customer Data and church responsibilities

Customer retains its rights in information uploaded to the Service (“Customer Data”). Customer grants IglesiaWeb a limited license to host, process, back up, and display Customer Data only to provide, protect, and improve the Service.

Customer is responsible for data accuracy, legality, and permissions; obtaining required notices or consent; configuring access; responding to people whose data it manages; and exporting needed information before closing the account. Customer must not upload information it is not authorized to process.

4. Plans, payments, and renewals

The Service may offer a Free plan and paid plans, including Ministry and Administration. Current features and prices appear on the plans page. Paid plans are billed in advance and automatically renew monthly until canceled. Stripe processes payments.

Customer authorizes applicable charges, taxes, and adjustments to the saved payment method. We may change pricing or features with reasonable notice effective in a future period. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and paid access continues through the current period. Except where required by law or expressly stated, completed payments are nonrefundable.

5. Acceptable use

Customer and its users may not:

  • use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or discriminatory activity;
  • access accounts or data without authorization, bypass controls, test vulnerabilities, or interfere with availability;
  • upload malware, unlawful content, or material infringing third-party rights;
  • resell, copy, decompile, or attempt to discover source code except where law permits;
  • use the Service to send spam or communications without required consent.

6. Privacy and security

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. We use reasonable safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Customer must use least-privilege access, protect devices and credentials, review users, and comply with privacy laws. Financial features are administrative tools and do not replace internal accounting controls.

7. Availability, support, and changes

We work to keep the Service available and provide reasonable support, but interruptions may occur due to maintenance, vendors, incidents, or causes beyond our control. We may modify, replace, or retire features to improve security, compliance, or performance. When a material change substantially affects a paid feature, we will provide reasonable notice when feasible.

8. Intellectual property

IglesiaWeb and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, software, marks, design, and documentation. While the account is active, Customer receives a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms. We may use suggestions without obligation, provided we do not publicly identify Customer without permission.

9. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with Stripe, email, hosting, or other providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. IglesiaWeb does not control or assume responsibility for third-party services, although we select reasonable providers and configurations to operate the platform.

10. Suspension, termination, and deletion

We may suspend access to protect accounts, investigate abuse, respond to legal requirements, address nonpayment, or stop a material breach. When reasonable, we will notify Customer and allow an opportunity to cure.

Customer may cancel using available options. Upon termination, the right to use the Service ends and data may be deleted under the Privacy Policy and backup cycles. Provisions concerning outstanding payments, ownership, liability, and disputes survive termination.

11. Warranties and professional advice

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or suitability for every legal requirement applicable to a church. IglesiaWeb does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Reports and records should be reviewed by Customer’s authorized personnel and professional advisers.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IglesiaWeb will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, profit, reputation, or data-loss damages. IglesiaWeb’s total aggregate liability related to the Service will not exceed fees paid by Customer during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits exclusion or limitation.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, Customer will defend and indemnify IglesiaWeb against third-party claims arising from Customer Data, unlawful use of the Service, breach of these Terms, or violation of another party’s rights, except to the extent caused by IglesiaWeb’s unlawful conduct.

14. Disputes and governing law

Before formal proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve a dispute through written notice to info@iglesiaweb.com. These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. law and the law of the jurisdiction where IglesiaWeb’s operating entity is established, without its conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer rights, where applicable, are not limited.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised date and provide notice of material changes when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if Customer disagrees, it must stop using and cancel the Service.
